Please remember that these are Remembrance wreaths and NOT Christmas wreaths, we ask that you refrain from putting any decorations on these wreaths and take away from the meaning of these wreaths.
Under the Wreaths Across America program the intent is to place ONE wreath on each veterans grave, here at Fort Bliss we are allowed to place ONE wreath on each side of a double headstone, i.e. Husband/wife, parent/child.
El Paso Composite Squadron – Civil Air Patrol is proud to host the 2024 Wreaths Across America Day and to be part of this nationally recognized program, which honors and remembers our veterans from all services.
Our partners this year are El Paso Chapter Ninety Nines, El Paso Aviation Association, El Paso Marine Memorial Association.
This program is made possible by the generous support and remembrance by the families and friends of those interred in over 1000 locations worldwide.

Paul Parsons, Army
Paul Parsons was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He gave strength to all those near him and always showed a perfect example to live by. Thank for being a great part of our lives. You were a great Father in Law and are missed every day.
Bruno Silva Jr., Army
To a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and friend; not a day goes by without missing you. You’re our hero! We love you so much, dad!! You’re the best Grandpa ever! We’ll make you proud! I remember how you always told us to always look forward, never look back. We will always keep this quote in our hearts. Also, we will always remember you as a fighter, a kindhearted and optimistic person, and the best grandpa in the world. We know that one day we will see you again in Heaven when it is our time.

Worcester Wreath and its involvement with the Arlington project was inspired at the early age of 12 years old when, as a Bangor Daily News paper boy, Morrill Worcester won a trip to the Nation’s Capital. It was a trip he would never forget, and Arlington National Cemetery made an indelible impression.
In later life, he recognized that his success as a businessman was in large part, due to the values of this Nation and the Veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
In 1992, the Wreath Company found themselves with an excess of wreaths nearing the end of the holiday season.
Seeing an opportunity to make a boyhood dream a reality, efforts to do something special with those wreaths began in earnest.
With the help of Maine Senator Olympia Snowe, arrangements were made for the wreaths to be placed at Arlington in one of the older sections of the cemetery, a section which received fewer visitors with each passing year.
It was relatively obscure until 2005 when a photo of the stones adorned with wreaths and covered in snow circulated around the internet. The project received National attention. Thousands of requests poured in from all over the country from people wanting to emulate the Arlington project at their National and State cemeteries spurred the creation of “Wreaths Across America™”. Unable to donate thousands of wreaths to each state, Mr. Worcester conceived the idea of sending 7 wreaths (one for each branch of the military as well as POW/MIA).
In 2006 with the help of the CAP and other civic organizations, over 150 locations held wreath laying ceremonies simultaneously. Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)3 organization (Federal ID # 20-8362270)
Each year, the Worcester Wreath Company (Harrington, ME) provides wreaths for placement on every grave in Arlington National Cemetery, and ships an ever increasing number of wreaths to over 1,000 locations worldwide.
Its commitment to Remember-Honor-Teach the importance and contributions made by our veterans remains a top priority.
